These were the immortal words spoken by Dr. Martin Luther King. I also have a dream of a time and place where chess and chessplayers in the United States are treated with respect and dignity. It would be nice if the general population of our nation would put down their Playstations and Xboxes (at least for a little while) and used their brains.
I dream of a chess club that is elegant and beautiful. The Saint Louis Chess Club IS that place! It is exciting that the 2009 US Championship (Unfortunately, not the Women's US Championship) will be held there! I'm going to be there, will you?
